- To maintain a clean and sterile OT by following Unidirectional
- To check equipment’s and take necessary action.
- To see that the trolleys are set for each procedure with enough and correct instruments, sutures, linen etc.
- To assist the surgeon in the procedure
- To be the nurse –advocate of the patient.
- To take over and hand over the patient to the floors/ICU.
- To count the instruments and swab before closing the operated part.
- To see that the instruments are washed, packed and autoclaved for the next use.
- To maintain the OT Records
- To take charge of the equipment’s
